Introduction to Machine Learning

What exactly is Artificial Intelligence? How is it taking the world by storm in recent years? Here at CS Unite, unravel the mystery of AI through our in-depth advanced course introduction to the world of Machine Learning, taught by experienced academics and CS experts Yash Korgaonkar, Nikhil Maalige, Kunj Parikh, and Vivaan Joshi from the Bergen County Academies, who all additionally co-lead their very own Machine Learning Club at their school. From their expertise, students will gain a unique, insightful, and deep introduction to machine learning models and their application in real-world settings. Students will additionally gain conceptual understanding of what machine learning and artificial intelligence make up, how they work, and how computer science has adapted & advanced to include wide-spread usage of ML models in recent years to solve ongoing, everyday problems & complete tasks. By the end of the 8 week course, students will have fully grasped how to create ML models and how to use popular coding languages, like Python, to quickly code and develop machine learning/AI models of their own fit for any use!

Class Content Includes:
- A 1-hour lecture per week over Zoom for a planned 8 weeks

 - Students will be instructed per code demonstrations and will be encouraged to try out optional homework assignments and projects to test their knowledge

- QNA Sessions after Each Lesson; Students will be encouraged here to ask anything, including questions regarding the recent coursework, past homework, and can ask for live reviews of their code from the instructors.
