Intro to Scratch
New to coding and computer science? Unsure where to begin to start learning within the wide world of coding languages? Fear not! Join CS Unite's "Intro to Scratch" Course today to ease into the world of CS through block coding, a simple yet innovative coding language designed for complete demonstration of all key programming concepts structured in an efficient, easy-to-use interface! Under the expertise of academic high-achievers and CS scholars Dharma Zalavadiya, Ryan Ortellado, and Zohar Ben Yossef from the Bergen County Academies, students from elementary school age and beyond can grasp the fundamentals of coding and create their very own projects and displays of creation through 1-hour lectures spread out over the course of 8 week sessions. Students will be encouraged to make use of the popular Scratch interface to design their own games, skits, projects etc. and explore the bounds of their creativity in this beginner-friendly introductory CS course!

Class Content Includes:
- A 1-hour lecture per week over Zoom for a planned 8weeks
- QNA Sessions after Each Lesson; Students will be encouraged here to ask anything, including questions regarding the recent coursework, past homework, and can ask for live reviews of their code from the instructors.
- Students will be instructed per code demonstrations and will be encouraged to try out optional homework assignments and projects to test their knowledge.
- Optional Final Presentation of Your Own Scratch Creation
