Introduction to Game Design

One of the most popular concepts and job fields in the world of computer science today is the wonderful world of game design and development. Here at CS Unite, dive deep into the fundamentals of game theory and game design itself through CS Unite's comprehensive "Intro to Game Design" course! Ease into the process of developing your very own game by learning how the traditional process of designing a game goes, how to come up with ideas, how to create a world within your game, how to create characters and necessary backstory/backgrounds, and finish off by learning methods in code to design an interactive game of your own! Taught by experienced CS scholar and academic achiever John Landa from the Bergen County Academies, students will learn all they need to know about the world of basic game development through this comprehensive 8-week course.
